Wore these for a full day at the lake and the built-in liner actually kept things cool instead of feeling swampy like my old shorts. The pouch support is legit, no adjusting needed after swimming or hiking down to the water.
The 4-way stretch shell moves with me whether I'm paddling out or just chasing my kids around the sand. Only gripe is the waistband runs a touch snug, so size up if you're between. Two washes in and the liner still feels like day one.
The liner actually does keep things cooler than my old plain mesh shorts, which surprised me on a muggy afternoon. Only gripe is the shell runs a touch long for my 5'8" frame.
