Wore these all day at the lake and the DropTemp liner genuinely kept things cool even when the sun was brutal. The BallPark Pouch takes some getting used to but now regular shorts feel wrong.

Swam laps in these for two hours and the 4-way stretch shell never once felt restrictive on my turns. The built-in pouch liner is the real winner though, zero chafing after a full beach day.

The liner actually keeps things cool when you're sweating on the sand all afternoon. The 4-way stretch shell moves with you instead of bunching up. Honestly forgot I was wearing swim shorts.
