The liner actually keeps things cool when you're sitting in the sun between swims, which I didn't expect. The 4-way stretch shell moves with you instead of bunching up. Two beach days in and I'm already ordering another pair.
Wore these for a full day of swimming and beach volleyball and the 4-way stretch shell never once felt restrictive. The BallPark Pouch took a round of getting used to but now I forget it's there.
Wore these for a full day of kayaking and the 4-way stretch shell never once felt restrictive when I was climbing in and out. The cooling liner actually works too, I wasn't adjusting myself or sweating through them by the afternoon.
