Keep your Vibe Xtra Soft Comfort boxer briefs soft and long-lasting with the right wash and dry routine. Follow these simple steps to protect the EcoVero fabric and BallPark Pouch.
Quick Answer
Wash your Vibe Xtra Soft Comfort boxer briefs in cold water on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low heat to keep the EcoVero fabric soft and the BallPark Pouch intact.
Why Care Matters for EcoVero Fabric
The Vibe Xtra Soft Comfort uses EcoVero, a soft, sustainable viscose fiber. Unlike cotton or synthetics, EcoVero can pill or shrink if washed in hot water or dried on high heat. A gentle routine keeps the fabric smooth and the No-RideUp Leg™ working properly.
Step-by-Step Care Routine
- Turn Inside Out Before Washing: Turn each pair inside out to protect the outer fabric and the BallPark Pouch from friction against other clothes. Common mistake: washing right-side out can cause pilling on the soft EcoVero surface.
- Use Cold Water on Gentle Cycle: Set your machine to cold water and a gentle or delicate cycle. Use a mild liquid detergent — avoid bleach or fabric softener, which can break down the moisture-wicking fibers. Hot water can shrink EcoVero; fabric softener clogs the wicking structure.
- Tumble Dry on Low Heat (or Air Dry): Dry on low heat in the dryer, or hang them to air dry away from direct sunlight. High heat can damage the elastic in the waistband and legs. High heat shortens the life of the No-RideUp Leg™ elastic.
About This Underwear
- Vibe Xtra Soft Comfort: Made from super-soft EcoVero fabric with a barely-there wicking structure called Stop Drop Technology™ built into the BallPark Pouch®. The EcoVero fabric stays soft only when washed gently; high heat can damage its fibers and reduce wicking performance.
